Preparation method: air drying method
In order to maintain the special taste of golden promise barley, the glenavont adopts air drying method. Unlike peat drying, air dried barley does not absorb fuel or any flavor from the ground. In the process of malting liquor, barley should be dried to prevent barley sprouting. Unlike other single distillery malt whiskies, they use spicy peat smoke to dry malt, and consistently adhere to the air drying method to dry malt raw materials.

The distillery, located at the junction of low land and high area, is very close to the low land. The glenavont is a barrel strong whisky. The alcohol content is usually between 55%-60% abv. Therefore, in terms of taste and aroma, whiskies with high alcohol precision are more and stronger than those with low alcohol precision.
